Amara Pluto

age: 19
Race: mix race, Au Ra (Raen) and Miqo'te (Keeper of the Moon)
Birthplace: Kugane
Guardian: Menphina, The Lover

Amara was raised as a servant to an au ra named Xander, who Amara called father. From the moment she could to simple tasks Xander ordered her around, when she disobeyed or did something wrong, he'd hit, scream, tell her she was useless and so on.This was her life for 14 years until she overheard Xander talking to a woman about a boy showing signs of having the "Phoenix gift". He tells the woman he will get rid of Amara, as she is useless to him now.Fearing for her life, that night Amara was able to leave the house, with only the clothes she was wearing and a silver moon earring with pale blue crystals. she made her down to the boats and hid on a boat, not sure what to do when a kind fisherman asked her if she's lost. Although she couldn't tell him, the man got the feeling she wanted to leave, so he took her with him to Eorzea. They made it to Gridania as the sky turned red and people were running for safety. Amara lost the fisherman in the chaos, hiding inside a dead tree. There she saw a huge dragon in the sky, and the fear of it made her pass out. While unconscious, Amara saw a huge crystal, telling her she would be needed soon, as darkness is coming.Amara woke up in an inn room. Someone found her and took her Carline Canopy. A lady named Miounne walks in and checks on her, but Miounne had to leave as wounded men and women were coming into the Carline Canopy. Amara offered to help as she knew how to clean and care for wounds. Miounne thanks her and brings Amara with her.Miounne gives Amara items to help her clean wounds and tells her to go to the rooms with flags on the doors. When heading towards the inn rooms, she saw an old man following another, who was carrying a miqo'te. Amara followed as the man laid the miqo'te down on a bed. Amara asked if she could take care of his wounds. The old man thanked her as she began to clean and dress the miqo'te's wounds. After the chaos of the calamity had calmed down to a point, Amara stayed with Miounne in the Carline Canopy. She helped out all around Gridania. As she helped the healers sort their potions, Kan-E-Senna came to see how the healers were doing. She noticed Amara and sensed her aether was very strong. She asks Amara if she has ever used magic before. Amara tells her she hasn't, so Kan-E offered to train her.During her training, they learned that Amara's aether is both strong and out of control. When Amara is highly stressed or scared, she begins to drain the aether around her. Kan-E and her family helped Amara with ways to help control her anxiety, so that she didn't start draining aether. When Amara turned 16, she became an adventurer. As a gift, Miounne gave Amara her home in lavender beds. To Amara's surprise, her new home was built on the same spot where Amara had hidden in a dead tree. The person who found Amara told Miounne where they found her. Now on her own, Amara travelled Eorzea, helping people, exploring and slowly beginning to learn she can be herself. She never has to go back to Kugane

age: 25
Race: Miqo'te, Seeker of the Sun
Birthplace: Gridania
Guardian: Byregot, the Builder

Kei was born to a father who never wanted a son. His father hated Kei to the point of ignoring him, but when Kei was able to walk, his father would hit and scream at him. After being thrown by his little tail down some stairs, a 5-year-old Kei ran out of his home and into the forest in the dark and in the rain.He didn't know that a voidsent was watching him. A strong, smart and dangerous voidsent that looked like a white hrothgar. He gets close to Kei, and when he learns what happened to Kei, something inside the voidsent got tight. He offers a pact with Kei.Kei agreed, and once the pact the two were suddenly teleported out of the forest and to just outside Ul'dah. Right before Kei passed out, the voidsent picked him up and carried him to the children's home. For the next 10 years, Kei jumped from family to family, unable to stay with a family for longer than a year. They all give up on him due to his attitude and something "evil" around him. The voidsent made things hard for Kei. Not long after his 15th nameday, an old man offered Kei a home and even some training as a samurai. Kei agreed, not seeing this lasting. Instead, the man, Hiro Kiyoshi, gave Kei his forever home. even giving him his new name, his name Kei came from the voidsent, and Hiro gave Kei his surname.Hiro trained Kei as a sellsword/mercenary, and at 19, Kei went on his first job alone. He meets a red-haired miqo'te named G'raha Tia, who came to Eorzea to study some ruins from the 5th Astral Era. The two went to the ruins, and when fighting some tonberries, G'raha grabbed Kei's bow and saved him. The two became friends after that, and when G'raha left Eorzea, the two wrote to each other.Kei and Hiro joined the fight at Carteneau. After losing Hiro in the chaos, Kei gets knocked down and as a garlean tried to kill him, Kei lifted his arm up to protect himself, and a shield appeared. Using the shock of the shield's appearance, Kei knocks the garlean out. Using his new "job jumping" skills, he finds Hiro and the two fight until Dalamud falls and Bahamut comes out. Kei calls to his voidsent, who uses Kei's old name K'mal, to get him and Hiro out of the way. K'mal opens a void gate and sends the two to Gridania. Once out of the void gate, Kei drops to the ground. While unconscious, Kei sees a huge crystal and a voice telling him that he is the darkness that is meant to be. When he wakes up, he sees Hiro at his bedside and an au ra girl cleaning his wounds. he thanks her, and once home, Kei tells Hiro what happened and sees the crystal in his dreams. K'mal voices how his aether just got stronger, and to check his bag, where a crystal of light was.The next morning, Kei woke up to see that Hiro was gone. At first, he thought he had missed their morning training, but he couldn't find Hiro. No note from Hiro, his soul crystal and katana were still here. Five years of thinking that he had finally found his home... K'mal points out that Hiro never leaves without his katana, so someone kidnapped him.For the next five years, Kei searched for Hiro. he shut his heart off from the world, not wanting to get hurt again. Even with his girlfriend, he didn't let her in fully. Although not part of any mercenary groups, he did work with the Black Fangs in his search for the man who was a father to him.

G'raha Tia

age: 24
Race: Miqo'te, Seeker of the Sun
Birthplace: Corvos
Guardian: Thaliak, the Scholar

G'raha remembers very little of his family. The only things he remembers are his mother singing him songs of the Allagan Empire and his father telling him stories of heroes of the past, the Allagans and the ties the G clan has with them.He was still a child when the Garleans raided his village, burning everything and taking his clan to do who knows what to them. Wanting to protect their only child, G'raha's father, the current Nunh and G'raha's mother handed their son to a member of another clan to take him away. The last time G'raha saw his father was him fighting the Garleans, making sure his son made it out alive. The miqo'te took G'raha to Sharlayan and left with the Students of Baldesion. One of the members offered to care for him with her husband and their adopted son. G'raha stayed with the North family and became very close to their son Mervin. Though their rules didn't make sense to him. such as he was never allowed to go into Mervin's room or remove his circlet that he wears every day. He was also not allowed to call Mervin his "brother" as they aren't his family, just his guardians. The rules didn't stop the two from becoming close, and they would get into trouble. When kids bullied G'raha for his two different-colored eyes, Mervin stepped in to protect him. The two entered the studium together, and while Mervin went into magitek, G'raha went into Allagan and Sharlayan history.During their studies, the two would sneak around at night, getting into forbidden parts to find a way to help Mervin use aether. This led to Mervin's father having a gleaner named Erenville to get them out of trouble. Thanks to his studies and his groundbreaking research into ancient arcane wisdom. He earned his Archon marks on his neck, and around the same time, he became a full member of the Students of Baldesion. earning his mark on his left arm and becoming friends with Krile. When he was 18, he travelled to Eorzea for the first time since fleeing from his home. he met with the bodyguard who was to protect him while he studied the ruins. He was surprised to see his guard was a miqo'te around his age. The miqo'te named Kei took him to the ruins, and when they were attacked by some tonberries, Kei got outnumbered and, seeing his bow on the ground, G'raha grabbed it and saved him.Once done with the ruins and returned to the city, Kei made him a bow, and before he left, he taught G'raha a few things before he left for Sharlayan. G'raha and Kei wrote to each other, and G'raha kept up with his bow training, which gave Mervin the idea to study battle arts. When the calamity happened over at Eorzea, G'raha waited to hear any word from Kei. When he finally got a letter from him, he read that Kei saw a huge crystal and wanted to know if that's normal. With Krile's help, without knowing why he wanted it, G'raha gathers info about the Echo and writes back to Kei with this info.Five years later, G'raha was tasked with the duty of investigating the Crystal Tower, the most fascinating and forbidding of the surviving relics of the Allagan Empire. Before he left for Eorzea, he sent two letters; one to Mervin, who left Sharlayan three years ago, and the other to Kei, who hasn't been returning his letters for the last two years. asking them both to meet him in Mor Dhona and bring anyone who can fight with them.
